Hello Project Wombat:

I am trying to track down some information regarding "The Reader's
Review," which existed circa 1995 to 1999, on behalf of an author whose
book is about to go to press. She has learned that an excerpt of a book
review written in 1997 from "The Reader's Review" will be put on her
book jacket, and she would like to know more about it than what she
knows already:

    - published 35 times per year by The Bookseller's Network, a
division of Pan Enterprises, San Francisco
    - the particular review for her book was written by Paul A. Nagy

I note a number of books on Amazon.ca list this title in their review
excerpts, for example, *George Berkeley : Idealism and the Man *or*
**The Handbook of Platonism**.
*
I have looked on WorldCat, RLG, Google, AltaVista, Ulrich's, and the
Publisher's Directory for the 1990s with no success. I telephoned
Amazon but they did not know of it (and so I do not believe it refers to
Amazon's reader reviews) and the author believes that it is a published
resource. It is not The Reader's Review web site located at
http://www.escapemediapublishers.com/Readers_Review_MP.html.

As I do not subscribe to Project Wombat, please reply directly to me.
Many thanks for your interest,

Regards,
Patricia
