I think Bette Midler might be a gardener. She founded a community garden
project in NYC.

For a book project, I've used half a dozen search engines and at least
that many phrasings trying to find names of U.S. celebrities who garden
for a hobby. I can't believe that information isn't out there -- I must
be asking the wrong question, or asking it the wrong way.

While I have unearthed a few, only one is of the Big Name variety I need
for the project (Martha Stewart). Can anyone suggest other people to
investigate, or ways to phrase the question that might lead me to the
information.
