[PW] Dell DVD projector: any experience or suggestions?

We need to purchase a DVD projector to show DVDs
in our community room. The room is approximately
33' by 36'. We are somewhat constrained in that
we have to purchase a Dell, and we are under some
pressure to purchase the less expensive model.
This would be a Dell 1800MP. I'm trying to find
out if this would be sufficient for our needs,
and I know less than nothing about this sort of
thing.

The specs are:

2100 lumens brightness
2000:1 contrast
1x0.55 imaging
15-PIN Analog component input
Dual VGA ports
Internal speaker, 2W side-mounted

Dell's customer service assures me the internal
speaker will be sufficient for that size room.
All the reviews I've read seem to indicate it's a
good value, but they're all geared more toward
business uses - sales presentations and the like.


Has anyone had experience with this particular
model, or is anyone knowledgable enough about DVD
projectors to see the above specs and say either
"Great!" or "BEWARE!"

...or at least tell me what else to ask Dell...
