Allen,
The 1930 Census for Redlands, California, reveals a couple of other
details. He claims to have an English born father and an Italian born
mother, and to have been born in Italy, and immigrated in 1870. Does this
make him a more complex man or more forgetful? And to have no occupation.
The householder is the president of a life and fire insurance company, along
with wife and two servants! Living at 757 Crescent Avenue.
I could probably find a California death record for Kathleen. Do you want
me to try?
I think you should try a southern california genealogical list for the
death record, and pay for the search.
David
