Hi David,
Yes, this marriage is indeed that of "my" Leonide Keating. He also acquires
a rather nice estate in Niles, Mich. which he offered up for sale in 1905.
As you discovered, he appears "twice" in the 1910 Census. Nothing in 1920
however (anywhere).
For what it is worth, he does appear, maybe, in the 1930 Calif. Census as
'Leonide L. Keatinge' (Lodger and widower), in Redlands (San Bernardino County).
So that does seem to place him in CA and is somewhat consistent with the
1945 Los Angeles Death. Too bad there's no obit on him.
That's what I have to verify (the CA Death Cert)!
Depending on which Census one believes, he first came to the US in 1860,
1865, 1875, or 1880.
