It does talk about a boy "...who is a stove.  He smokes all the time."

Hello all.

 

A patron read an article in the 1960's in Life or Look (he is fairly
certain it was Life) that featured a 10-year-old boy in Hannibal,
Missouri.  Several times in this article it is said that he "smokes like
a stove".  Not a lot to go on, but if anyone has a lead, I'm going to
find them on here.  The Reader's Guide isn't getting me very far with
that amount of detail.
