Here is a list of some artists named Nicole (with their lived/active
location & birth year). This is from searching on first name nicole at
www.askart.com (which now requires a subscription for most of the artists'
biographical info). Perhaps searching on these full names elsewhere will
produce the mystery artist.

Patron cannot remember name of artist whose work she liked.  Artist is a
French woman, currently living, who paints rather heavy-set ladies
frolicking on hillsides (she thinks in their underwear) with cats and
balloons.  Artist's first name is Nicole.  Patron thinks she remembers
seeing the art on allposters.com but the artist also had a website.
Many searches using various terms have been used on allposters.com and
google.com but we have not been able to find anything.  Patron said this
was 2-4 years ago that she saw this.  Patron remembers the art as being
rather colorful but was mainly pinks, greens, and blues.  Any assistance
identifying this artist is appreciated.
