It was down near where the Ghiradelli Square area and the Cannery area are
now. Possibly if you can get an old map showing that part of SF, you could
locate it? I wish I could remember the street-names, but as I wasn't able
to drive yet at that time, I never noticed street-names, just where it was,
on a corner, not far from the street where the cable-car tracks turned and
only a few blocks from the water.
Possibly the history room at SFPL would be of more help than the UCB folk
here. Or you could try the really excellent history room at the Oakland
Public Library. Both public libraries would have material on past
businesses.
