Nina:
Why do something that has the potential for so many problems? If the
person wins nothing, they are left with a pile of worthless paper. If they
do win, they are facing theological questions which you probably don't need
to be a part of. If they have no religious qualms, and they win a LOT OF
MONEY, should they give you some? What if they don't give you anything?
What would be your feelings toward that person? What if they win a lot of
money, then decide -- religious convictions aside -- to keep it? [Do you
really want folks to put their religious convictions aside for any reason?]
What if it totally ruins the life of that person and the lives of that
person's family? How would you feel?
To see how lottery winnings can ruin lives, look up Jack Whittaker (or
maybe Whitaker) from my own state of West Virginia. He is (or was) the
largest U.S. lottery winner in history. His life is a mess. Just my
$0.02! Happy Holidays!
