[PW] Identify this novel?

I found "Love and other recreational sports" in Google Books and having tried a few searches of the text (only snippet view available), I can confirm that there is a scene in an art gallery.
So I'm going to stick my neck out and say it is definitely Dearie's book, architects notwithstanding.
