Hi Susan,

Not much beyond that the "Sisters of the Mysterious Ten" were affiliated with the "United Brothers of Friendship" in the late 19th to early 20th centuries, and originated in Kentucky.

There's a book on the history of the two organisations ("History of the United Brothers of Friendship, & Sisters of the Mysterious Ten in Two Parts", originally 1897, reprinted 1971) by WH Gibson which I'm sure would provide what you're looking for, but it appears to be rather hard to track down!
