[PW] Idle query

Sylvia, instead of complaining, why don't you just subscribe to Project
Wombat FM? I'm not clear on why you are subscribed to the
filtered-in-hindsight list, given that you clearly want the close
association of questions and answers that the filtered one was designed
to provide.

If you -are- subscribed to the filtered list, then perhaps you should
ask admin to check their filters, because I'm not, and don't expect my
flippant answers to arrive there. In short, when you say that "people
can chat away on the unmoderated list" well, sure they can, but that's
not the division set in place when the list was set up, which is
described at http://project-wombat.org/ and at
http://project-wombat.org/faq_stumpers.shtml.

If you aren't a moderator, it's rude to moderate.
If you are a moderator, then I apologise, but I'd ask you to please
identify your status as a moderator more clearly.
If my use of the list, which I believe is completely correct given that
PW claims to carry on the "off-beat, eclectic tone set by the Stumpers
list" is in error, then I'd be glad to be corrected by one of the people
on the panel of moderators and will moderate my tone.
