[PW] Question about a book

Could it be John Gould's "Tales from Rhapsody Home, or Reporting Live
from Our Last Resort" ? It was originally published as "Tales from
Rhapsody Home, or What They Don't Tell You About Senior Living". One
description of this book (under the original title) is: The
ninety-two-year-old writer takes readers on a humorous, often irreverent
tour of his assisted-living facility and its inhabitants.

John Gould was a weekly columnist for the Christian Science Monitor for
many years, and the author of many books about Maine.

Subject: [PW] Question about a book

Hi all,

Thanks for the suggestions, but none were what he is looking for,
although he was going to pass on the AARP article, the Jean-Dominique
Bauby and the Art Buchwald book titles to a friend who was looking for
something similar.

It was not fiction (so Water for Elephants was out)...definitely an
autobiography...and the person had been a resident of a nursing home or
assisted living center, not a staff member. If something else strikes
you, let me know, we're still looking.

Jocelyn
