Amy:
Goddard's Global Change Master Directory (http://gcmd.gsfc.nasa.gov/) is an
excellent resource for almost all earth sciences data. For example, for
this question you can select "Oceans" from welcome screen, then -> Ocean
Chemistry -> Dissolved Gases leads to 113 data sets. "Ocean Chemistry"
also has links to data sets for individual gases, such as carbon dioxide
and nitrogen.
By the way, the person formerly responsible for this directory, Gene Major,
became manager of the Goddard Library project last week, and my boss.
