[PW] Cartoon- Dogs who become wise

Does anyone remember or have a clue on this question:

Patron believes that he remembers seeing a cartoon on television about
three dogs (maybe one) going into a room searching for knowledge.  When
they came out they had each found some version of wisdom. He did say
that it might have been part of a Disney program. He wants to identify
the cartoon.
