Hello -
I'm seeking the exact source for the following quotation: "Amateurs talk
strategy, professionals talk logistics".

Although it has been generally attributed to Gen. Omar Bradley, I cannot
find the original source.

Now, I'm suspicious that he even said it at all, because I located a
statement by Gen. Lord Wavell that is strikingly similar.  In an article
titled: The General is a Front-line Man"; NY Times dated May 21, 1944,
Gen. Wavell is attributed as saying "that the real difference between
the amateur and the professional strategist is that the latter
understands the problems of supplies and logistics, and thus knows what
is possible and impossible."

Therefore, I'm asking, can anyone locate a an original source for the
quote attributed to Bradley?
