This is for me, the Elephant's Child, so no big rush.

We just had a client who wanted to know which states have so-called "three strikes" laws. I found an article in Wikipedia that discusses the law, but it doesn't say exactly which state have it. I have looked in two almanacs, the FBI's report CRIME IN THE UNITED STATES (which isn't indexed, and an attempt to search the PDF report online was fruitless), ENCYCLOPEDIA AMERICANA, and I can't find the information the client wanted.

If any marisupials know other places to look, either in print or online, I'd appreciate geting that information. (My library is a select Federal depository, so we might have any government documents with the information.)

TIA!
