But that's sort of a circular argument, because nobody has experience at 
succeeding until they actually succeed; they had to have started *somehow* 
first. The Beatles would certainly qualify as having had no experience or 
formal training as either musicians or entertainers (not even so much as 
acting in school plays or playing in school bands); they simply taught 
themselves to play instruments and went out and performed shows, keeping at 
it over the years as they became more and more successful.
