Boy, is there ever.  _Musik in Geschichte und Gegenwart_.

But it's the other way around.  Grove is similar to MGG, not vice versa.  That is, the so-called "New Grove" (the 1980 edition of Grove) was designed to be an English equivalent of the MGG.

Ooh!  I'll have to e-mail my old bibliography teacher and tell him that information came in useful.
