I am not a member but I have a patron question for which I am having a hard
time finding the answer.
I have a patron who wants the title of a book that she read in the past five
years. She feels that the book was published post late 1980s. The book tells
the journey of one person. On that person's journey she/he meets a
"frightening" demon. The protagonist asks the demon "what would you be if
there was no fear?" The demon gets stumped and the journey continues. 

What is the title and the author of this book?
