Wombat Subscribers:

I want to thank those who responded to my request for assistance last
week. In particular, Sue Kamm who mentioned the clerk of council for
city councils to get the number of ordinances passed into law. I
found that many Web sites for municipalities give 5-10 years of
retrospective figures of the number of ordinances passed. On the
state level, these figures are found under the Legislative Service
Commission Web sites. For the U. S. Congress, the number of public
laws enacted can found on the Thomas Web site at:

http://thomas.loc.gov/bss/d109/d109laws.html

Thanks again.
