Ehud (Udi) Goldwasser and Eldad Regev were still alive in early October 
according to the Russian government, and the Israelis still consider 
them MIA. There are ongoing negotiations to release an Israeli corporal, 
Gilad Shalit, but there has been no announcement of negotiations for the 
two slightly more recent captives.  Here is one Israeli article on the
