Paul,

I'm with the Free Library of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA.  When I read
your query below, I checked our holdings for America.  Unfortunately, we
only have it from 4/14/1920-12/29/1945.  According to "Pennsylvania
Newspapers:  A Bibliography and Union List" here is the main entry for this
title:

America
     Philadelphia, PA
     Ukranian  1911-- tri-weekly  1921-1940  Semi-weekly 1950 daily
1916-1921.  1951-  1911-1916  as AMERYKA NEWSPAPER

>From this record, we are the only insitution that has this newspaper at all,
although I checked a couple of the rolls of microfilm:  1930 the micorfilm
was furnished by the British Library; 1945 (our last reel) was from the
Library of Congress.

 Dear colleagues,

I have a request from the Ukraine. The person is looking for an article
about Ivan Kreveckiy, which was published in Philadelphia (1950 year) in
"America" magazine
 (or newspaper, I dont know exactly) on Ukrainian language in number  7
and number 8. The person is interested in a copy of the article.
Unfortunately we do not have any way of verifying the bibliographical
information in order to track down a copy in Germany.

I would be most grateful if someone would provide me with the
bibliographic information - even better, of course, would be a digital
copy of the article.
