The Field Museum has online education resources, including email reports
of current research or virtual tours of exhibits.

Millennium Park has a free downloadable audio tour:

For lots of neat pictures of any area or a specific building/attraction,
try www.flickr.com Search for a keyword, such as Millennium Park, then
select "most interesting". You will get lots of amazing photos. Your
students could find a place they want to know more about, then search
for more photos of it. For example, I found some great shots of "The
Bean":

Flickr is a private website with photos posted by individuals of
anything and everything. Beware of things you may not expect to show up
while searching, you might want to check it out before you do a search
in the classroom.

Subject: [PW] Geography sites
For something outside the US you might want to try...
http://www.westernaustralia.com/en/ - try the links under "Destinations"
and
www.australia.com <http://www.australia.com/> - check out the "National
Geographic Photo Exhibition" (on left hand menu) and "Amazing
experiences" under "Things to do..."
also
www.lonelyplanet.com <http://www.lonelyplanet.com/> has nice image
galleries (search in the "destinations" section)!
Hope these aren't too much for dial up speeds!
Happy traveling!

If I had asked my customers what they wanted, they'd have asked for a
