This won't actually answer your question (provide a list of astronauts), but interestingly, I just read something related a couple days ago, the first female space tourist just back from space reported it smelling like burnt almond cookies.

Here's a link to the Boingboing post that got me there, along with several other followup blurbs about the smell of space, mixed in with some general silliness:

Very interesting indeed!

Subject: [PW] list of astronaut emails/street addresses?

Hello all,

My 14 year old daughter is starting a survey intended for all space-borne astronauts on the question "what does space smell like?". A friend of mine is an astronaut and has 14 outside hours and reports with all seriousness that space *does* have a scent. (Seared steak. A friend of his reports that he thought space smelled like burnt almonds. All of this is sensed once back inside, of course.) Anyway my daughter wants to know if other astronauts have had such insights and intends to contact as many as she can find. I've found lists of astronauts but of course I'd love a silver bullet that also had their addresses, street or email. Any suggestions?
Thanks again, John Ptak
