Are there any Picassos in the Louvre? I thought their collection only
contained
items through the first half of the 19th century. More modern stuff is in
the
Musee d'Orsay, I believe, and of course, Picasso has his own museum in
Paris.
When Picasso was given an exhibition at the Louvre in 1971, it was the first
time
the Museum had ever had an exhibition of the works of a living artist. I
don't know
if that counts.

I really don't know very much about art. Obviously.
