[PW] Nature quote - I may have answered my own query

I did another Google and found one Dante reference that seemed to put the 
"art of God" quote in "Monarchia" So I cruised around the
Princeton Dante  Project  http://etcweb.princeton.edu/dante/index.html

And lo and behold, I found these lines in Dante's "Monarchia" on the site:

"and finally the best purpose of all is the one for which God Everlasting 
with his art, which is nature, brings into being the whole of mankind."
(Monarchia I,iii, 2)

That sounds to me like what the Browne quote has gotten mixed up with - 
basically a similar sentiment, I would say.
