Hi Robin,
You may have already found this site; unfortunately, it's dated
1998--may be too outdated for your patron.

Fellow Marsupials,
A student is searching for statistical information about police
brutality -- ideally, he'd like to compare cities. We've looked at
Dept. of Justice web sites, local "cop-watch" organizations, aclu.org,
basic databases like CQ Researcher and Opposing Viewpoints, and we're
not sure where to look next.
Student would be very happy to find incidents per capita per year, or
brutality complaints vs. number of arrests -- he just wants to be able
to compare Portland, OR (for which he can get figures) to other cities,
of similar size if possible.
Thanks in advance for anything you can find....
Robin
