Would like to trace the origin of this bit of doggerel. This is the way the patron remembers it:

 "Ha! says the thread as it enters the shuttle/Now I'm alive and important and/ the weaver goes weaving efficiently on/and the weaver goes weaving efficiently on/ until the thread is firm in the cloth/ firm in the cloth and ha! says the next thread/that enters the shuttle now I'm alive and important."
