  HI, DAN GOODMAN:

  Without the context, it will be hard to
  translate. But how about:

  nevenstrande = by the sea, at the seashore,
  next to the beach, at the beach?,

  because "neven" means "next to"
  in Dutch & Flemish (just the same
  language in different regions).
