Hi -
We just discovered that there was a motor car manufactured in Woonsocket in the early 1900s. I have not been able to locate much information, and no pictures of this vehicle. If any of you can add to what we have, it would be wonderful. My information comes from the notes of a man who was trying to write a history of the town, and are very terse.
1907 - Woonsocket-made autobile on market.
Greene Motor Car Co. of Woonsocket had a car on the market in fall of 1907. Motor designed by E. Savigny, chief engineer of company, who had spent years in France learning the motor building business.
Thanks!
