[PW] ?inventor named Eisenmanger

Hi,

  Since we are always curious to learn full (first) names of once important 
people, I thought I would ask if anyone knows such details about a man referred 
to only as 'Eisenmanger'  -- he supposedly invented a device to record piano 
notes in 1836. He may have obtained a British or German patent on the 
contraption, but little emerges on the Internet. Is he real or a figment of someone's 
imagination? Is he listed in any major 19th century scientific Indices?
