I've read alternative Roman histories by Harry Turtledove and Robert
Silverberg, but I seem to recall they involved time travel and/or magic,
and they weren't specifically dealing with Great Britain. Best to
double check with database Novelist.

Now, there is an exciting historical author named William Dietrich who
wrote about the collapse of the Roman Empire with "Hadrian's Wall" and
"Scurge of God" (Attila the Hun) if you want more realistic fare.

Subject: [PW] Alternative ancient Roman history

Just a question from personal curiosity. Having just cycled Hadrian's
Wall, and read a military history book about it, which suggested the
Romans' great mistake was not to conquer all of the island, I wondered
if anyone knows of any alternative history novels that explore what
might have happened had they done that.

Thanks in advance!
