I can tell you that it was written by a woman. She was an attorney. She had
a group of attorneys
she met with that would mentor each other. One of the women and her struck
up a friendship and
they got talking about the other side. Both of them wanted to know what was
there and promised
each other that whoever went first, they would try and contact the other and
tell them.
The one woman gets ill (with cancer, if I recall correctly). She had a
husband and two young
children. She has a long illness and eventually passes. After her passing,
the friend begins to
receive automatic writing responses from her. She describes in detail, where
she went and what
the whole experience was like for her-during the illness.
It is a great rendering of the dying process and really woke me up and gave
me a whole other
perspective on illness, pain, death, life, etc. It was excellent. Not to
mention it describes in
detail where she went and what is was like. She corroborates many other
things I've read and
heard from other people who have read about the "afterlife
