[PW] Need Title of Book

Dear W*mbats,

I hope you can help me with this end of the year request, I have a teacher who just came to me,
asking about a book from the 70's about two children who follow an old man who take a
wheel barrel of money out of the bank, to his house, and they sneak into the house to find it.
This is a chapter book, probably elementary level 4th grade or there about's.
