Hi Phalbe,

My working theory is this: If it doesn't feel right to you, it's wrong.
I won't even go into my second theory about politicians telling
librarians how to do their job.

I take it that the library has a rule about not allowing staff to
billboard themselves or library property for causes other than the
promotion of reading and similar issues. Is the parking lot library
property? If so, then one rule fits all in all circumstances.

And I will say this anyway about my second theory: I hope your
lawyer/county commissoner is up for re-election and gets defeated in
the interest of good government.

Hang tough,

John Dyson
