One of my colleagues in the reference departmentsubmitted a request this
past Thursday, June 1, for the following item:

Baraka, Amiri. "Rhythm Travel", in Dark Matter: a century of speculative
fiction from the african diaspora, ed. by Sheree Thomas. NY: Warner Books,
2000. Pp. 13-16.

She asked if it was possible to phone someone in the ILL world and ask them
to get it fast since she needs it tomorrow (June 6) for a reading at a local
youth club: I told her we would try but she was cutting it awfully short.

As it turns out, we've run into problems of the places we've tried that are
usually reliable: they are either not finding the book on their shelves,
or they are short staffed due to vacations and are hesitant about their
ability to provide it.

I don't like to ask for ILL items on this list, but I am bumping up against
a deadline and if anyone has this on their shelves and could provide a copy,
I will be so grateful. Our fax number is 229-333-5862.
Thank you very much!
