 I have used ProQuest's digitized database of the NY Times, and other 
newspapera as well (WP, LAT), and the computer searches include e-v-e-r-y-thing - 
articles, text, classified ads, and yes, even Display ads (in every issue). Truly 
amazing, and very helpful. In the case of the NYTimes, back to 1851. Ah, 
nothing is safe...
