The Berghoff closed, it is true, in February, but they reopened in
April under the name of Berghoff Cafe, with (according to various
mentions online) a menu which is indistinguishable from the old one.
(The motivation, alleges the New York Times, was the elimination of
union labor; I doubt the menu has become any cheaper, though, which
suggests that the motivation may have been the enormous surge of
business they received when everyone thought they were going away for
good.) The new address, according to a search on Google -- I know
I've seen it somewhere in the Loop, but my memory isn't THAT good -- is

17 W Adams St
Chicago, IL 60603

and the phone number is

(312) 427-3170

I can't say whether it's still any good, because I don't like German
food and would rather go to Russian Tea Time (77 E. Adams St) or The
Olive Mountain (in Evanston). But the NYT review said the food served
at the renamed version was just like that served several months earlier.
