[PW] Status Announcement

A few weeks ago, I announced that there might be some problems
because one of the two hosting companies which is used by Project
Wombat was going to make some major changes, but that this would
occur no earlier than the 17th of July. Furthermore, I said I would
send a message when they were done.
Well, it never happened. Or rather, they tried, and everything
stopped working right away so they never actually completed the
transition.
A bunch of the URLs on the website failed testing because they are
built by server-side includes. The SSI puts together "http://" +
server name + rest of the link. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell,
the testing program parsed the links before executing SSI, so that it
ended up looking for "http://QAservername/file" when it should have
looked for "http://QAservername/internal_redirecting_path/file".
As a result, the status page has read:
> Status: In QA

Since the 17th. I tried going in and telling it to ignore the
problems (which were ALL of this type) but nothing happened, which is
hardly surprising because now that I read the fine print, once you
touch the controls they assume you want manual control and stop doing
anything more.
In a way, that's fine, since it means the whole thing will happen
today (Saturday). In a way, though, that's also bad, because it means
that I won't be around for about 12 hours, because I'm in the
morning, I'll be off to do some volunteer work.
The point I am trying to make: the list may be a bit wonky this
weekend. I will attempt to make sure everything is working by Monday,
though. (No guarantees, though -- this involves DNS swapping.)
