I just searched the CD-ROM of Ayn Rand's writing, which contains ALL of her
fiction, non-fiction, letters and journals, including the book mentioned
above and the Objectivist Newsletter. I searched under the word 'bank'.
Nothing about banks lending money to each other overnight appears. Lots of
stuff about banks closing in Atlas Shrugged and many analogies to bank
robbers in the non-fiction.
