Hi
"My" Clarence Conley (a black man) was definitely alive in 1899, as he
appears in the 1900 Atlanta census. I did see the SSDI index had one Conley in
Cherokee, GA (1909-1998), but that's not him. He lived his whole life in Atlanta.
The GA Vital Records office will do limited searches, usually within a
3-year framework, so I hope to narrow it down a little.
