[PW] Upcoming possible outage

The hosting company which is responsible for DNS services for project- 
wombat.org was purchased by another company several months ago, and  
all user accounts are being gradually transferred to a new system.  
(In some respects a nicer system, but at present Project Wombat  
doesn't use any of the features which are improved.) The date when  
the project-wombat.org account is theoretically being transferred is  
Monday, July 17.

The claim has been made by the company that they will make a private  
trial run first, and check to make sure the transfer is working  
properly before actually modifying anything which is publicly  
accessible. In any case: beginning on July 17, there may be some  
temporary problems with DNS and mail services on this list. With  
luck, this will be the last upheaval for the year, since we've  
already had more than our share. Given that the last service outage  
of this type -- which was the other company involved in hosting the  
list doing similar things -- took place much later than the projected  
date, I can't even say whether this will take place on that date.

Further updates as events warrant. I will post a message to the list  
when the transfer is complete.
