Whoever noted that DVD players in Australia are required to be
region-code-free certainly hasn't used mine.  To the best of my knowledge
this is not the case (unfortunately) so if you are packing your bags to
move here, leave your DVD player; not because of region codes, but we use
a 230/50 electrical system which would make it incompatible anyway!
