Thank you to Michele Jack for providing some useful links to help answer
my query about yellow pages ad costs.  I passed them on to the patron,
and he appreciated them.

For the sake of the Archives, the Reference USA database seems to be the
best way to find out how much money a business would need to spend on
telephone book advertising.  Although it does not directly list the
prices of yellow pages advertisements, it does provide an estimate of
"Yellow Page Ad Spending" for each company it lists.  This makes it
fairly easy for a business to find out how much its competitors are
spending on yellow pages advertisements.
