[PW] "Getting to Know You" types of activities

Over the years, I have participated in a wide variety of "getting to
know you" and ethical dilemma-type exercises that encourage groups to
communicate with each other. But they were less "get to know you" kinds
of things and more "communication" type exercises. Generally they were
handed out on sheets of paper copied from a book. One exercise I
remember went something like this: The BigCity Airport is soon to be
blocked in by massive snowstorm and only one more plane will be allowed
to leave tonight. There are fifteen people all stating they desperately
need to make the flight and there are only six seats available.
Evaluate each person's situation and determine as a group which six
people you think should make the flight and why." A short profile of
fifteen people would then be given, such as two newlyweds headed for
their honeymoon, a priest who is presiding over the funeral of an
important person the next day, a dying young woman who needs to get to
the only hospital that can treat her but even if she makes the flight,
she might not live through it.
Obviously I could make several of these up out of my head, but I would
really like to find a book or website that offers more variety and
selection than my feeble brain can produce. Any suggestions on a good
book or good website is appreciated. I haven't been able to come up any
good searching terms at all for finding this kind of thing. It's been
one of those days. All assistance is appreciated. Janet
