Could it be The Big Tidy-Up by Norah Smaridge?  The girl's name is
Jennifer and the cover was pink.  I remember reading it and loving it
when I was little.  The book is out of print, but a few booksellers have
it listed for pretty high prices.  Here's a link where you can see the

We have  patron who is looking for a book about a
messy girl.  She thought the name of the book was
Messy Jennifer.  But I have not been able to find or
verify this.

I have looked through our catalog, amazon, B and T,
Children's Cat., Best Books for Children, and tried
some children's literature sites and a general
Internet search.  But no hits so far.

The book is from the 70's it had a pink cover and was
a large story book.  I was able to find a couple of
titles She did it! by Ericsson and The Mess by Jensen.
 But neither of these titles are correct.

The girl in the story is named Jennifer and has a
messy bedroom.  

Any help would be great, thanks.
