Thanks to all who helped with the Martian fire flowers quote. I
contacted John Arnold, of the Emerson, Lake, and Powell Digest, and he
told me about the acknowledgement on the liner notes to "Brain Salad
Surgery." (He is not sure of its exact origin, but it may very well be
from the SF genre.)
