[PW] ? IBM Micro Channel PS/2 50Z Reference Disk

Long shot extremely technical question here. If you're not familiar
with the old Micro Channel Architecture PCs from IBM, you may stop
reading now.

A patron from a local research foundation is helping someone with a
ca. 1986 IBM PS/2 Model 50Z, which is stuck in a BIOS loop and can
only be revived with the reference disk which came with it. He is
trying to recover some word processing files and due to the
proprietary MCA hardware, he can't just pull out the drive and hook it
up to something else; there was enough variation within the PS/2s that
even a related model might not accept it, although he'd try that.

For anyone else who might need this sort of thing, the IBM section of
EMS Professional Software's Retro Tools Exchange:

<http://www.emsps.com/oldtools/ibm.htm>

is the type of place that might have carried it, but does not seem to
at the moment.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
