I apologize for this interruption of list traffic, but the advisory
board for this list has voted to amend the posting guidelines, which
is a fairly major change.

The addition is at the top of the list on the web, and runs:

**********

Answers without Attribution
-----

If at all possible, please give an attribution to any answer which has
one. For sources on the web, a URL is sufficient.

Answers which are obviously copied directly from a source on the web
and pasted into a post without attribution will not be accepted by the
moderators for the FM list, and will be considered a violation of the
guidelines.

**********

As a side note, the board has not yet officially voted to kill the
"Tea and Ice Cream" thread, which has gone off-topic and become a
survey, but an official vote on the subject has just opened and it
seems likely to pass, given the discussion which accompanied the other
votes.

And, speaking of surveys, as long as I'm writing an administrative
post, I may as well mention that we will, sometime in the next few
weeks (depending on when I can complete the back-end part) have a
survey via the web covering a variety of topics, including the 2009
ALA summer convention, at which there may be some sort of "official"
Project Wombat activity. The URL for this survey will be posted when
the survey is completed, and the survey will be open for two weeks
from the announcement date.
